Some of the excessiv profanity actually detracts from the story line and the same thing happened in Deadwood I am no prude and can take the profanity, it's just a little over the top. Maybe that lost some viewers. The storyline was excellant and interesting characters, good writing. |

What does it take to get some respect, anyway? Pander to the lowest possible level of people around?
You did the show's creator a huge disservice, and you truly disappointed the whole lot of Deadwood's very angry audience which followed him right over to John from Cincinatti, ready to discover his new project, learn his new ideas.
I can't think of anythting more discouraging HBO could do. You needed that program more than you realize, apparently.
