Name: Diane Stevens on May 16, 2010Comments: I too would be happy to pay to obtain a security clearance. I have never had one but I am also qualified to apply for many positions and feel discriminated against for not working for the "right" employer in the past. My father worked for the Pentagon so I was surrounded by this discipline and know what to except.Flag

Name: Jeanvieve Warner on Feb 28, 2011Comments: As an Information Security Specialist, I'd like very much to be involved with government jobs that require a clearance. But I'm caught in the Catch-22 of not having that which is required for a job. I'd pay for it myself if I could just get the investigation done! This should be an option, and could only benefit the government in the short and long run. Heck, they could charge me an extra couple hundred for the sake of the economy and I'd pay it.Flag
