NYC subway stations and trains can become a hub of crime due to these facts:

· It is a highly populated area

· There is rarely cell phone service or wifi in stations and on trains

· There's little to no security at stations

· It is an enclosed space that may be difficult to exit

Many citizens fear for their safety and well-being on a daily basis while taking public transportation throughout the five boroughs. With Isis allegedly plotting attacks on NYC subway stations, this fear has grown even more. This petition is to implement changes including but not limited to metal detectors at every station as well as police officers.
