Comments: This petition is well over due. This alley way is constantly used as a toilet, and the smell of urine is horrific. This alongside the constant threat of being mugged or assaulted, is unacceptable.

Comments: I often walk down there and there are often men hanging around on the steps. I have never had problems but it would be nice if there was some sort of secuirity just in case.

Comments: We hear of attacks so frequently, it's only a matter of time before something very serious happens. A perfect haven for sick individuals to enjoy harming others undetected.

Comments: Very dangerous walkway that my child uses on the commute to school- 2 of her friends have had their phones snatched by lads hiding at the end by the garages. Not acceptable for our children to live in fear.

Comments: I used this alley and felt each time that I had to get through it as quickly as relaxed and as highly alert as possible. I am a female londoner have my wits about me . I am fit enough to use these stairs quickly but some light would create a little more peace of mind. Ctv cameras... I wonder if they deter but can also make you feel a liitle less alone

Comments: Please spend some of my taxes to secure this walkway. I already feel scared enough walking home by myself at night on relatively well-lit streets. Alleys and walkways like these need to be well-lit and secured so that those using them are less at risk of attacks. Helen
