We, the friends, fans, and all those who respected Sean Taylor, are requesting that one of the most promising players in recent NFL history should have his number #21 be retired. A true player, friend, warrior, and father will never be forgotten. We will always love you, Sean.

6 years ago Comments: he was the best defensive player i ever seen as far as his range, ball skills, tackling ability, and ability to intimidate other teams main receiver/ running back (especially T.O., he had him shook after 1 game when Sean was just a rook). He was like a Ronnie Lott (great against the run and the pass) but had a little more range due to his speed, acceleration and agility. Despite his young age and only played 2 seasons and 10 games, he did die protecting his wife 'n child and he stayed legit after his gun charge by not having a gun and that was the reason he only had a machete. Please respect his legacy by retiring his # maybe not this season but before another player dons it because their never will be another sean taylor despite what kenny phillips's and laron landry's fans say (no disrespect to them, they are great and intimidating safeties who can tackle great, but they can't measure up to the human hit-stick)
