We the undersigned petition Haringey Council to stop proposals to merge The Haynes and Grange Dementia Day Care Centres and to close The Grange, Woodside, Haven and Six*Four Day Care Centres. We ask councillors to listen to the views of the people who attend the centre and their carers and the people who are concerned that they also may need support in the future. The centres are lifelines for the attendees and their carers without these centres to offer respite, aplace to meet others take part in activities be part of a community the lives of the Elderly will lose meaning. How will the council protect the vunerable elderly and safequard them? They say a society is measured by how they treat their children and the elderly. How does Haringey Council measure up?
