Name: Eddie Park on Feb 13, 2008Comments: The dates mentioned in the petition can be used as a guideline but the gist of the petition makes perfect sense. The weather is attrocious during the winter months and how kids are supposed to better their technique is anyone's guess. We should be utilising the summer months to coach and play football, not shutdown when the weather is at its best.Flag

Name: Brian Chisholm on Feb 14, 2008Comments: As Founder of Currie Star F.C. it has long been my opinion that the current season for youth football does nothing to encourage participation in football. The parks are unplayable, the weather is frequently adverse and the training is worse due to the constant search for suitable in-door facilities. In addition parents or guardians are more likely to come out and support in better weather.Flag

Name: Niall Duffin on Feb 14, 2008Comments: A very good idea, and it is one of a number that should be implemented. How about from October to March there is indoor football of the type played by Brazilians, Italians and Spanards, where the emphasise is on skill and technique rather then strengh.Flag
