Ever wonder why our jails stay over crowded? Ever wonder why people are getting rob,and killed for the little money that they do have? It's because of the way that the people who are just getting out of jail are being treated. The people that get out and try to do good can't because no one will hire them just because they look at what they did in the past. They cant even get a descent place to live because of there background. When they do find somewhere to stay it is in a drug infested neighborhood and that is not right! If you are a 3rd degree felon and your crimes date back 3 years, if you are a 2nd degree felon and your crimes date back 5 years, and if you are a 1st dgree felon and your crime dates back 10 years no employee should hold that against you. You should be entitled to say no to the question of have you ever been convicted of a felonie that date back so far.You should be entitled to have your rights back. Even if you have done something that was really bad, You should still have some type of job so you can support yourself.
