Residents of different areas of Spain are organising themselves to strongly oppose demolition orders recently issued to various residents in different towns in Spain.

We are protesting against legal and planning uncertainty, against bad administration and corruption, against the failure to respect citizens’ human rights and against the failure of the administration to comply with European Parliament resolutions including the Auken report.

We cannot sit back and watch these demolitions and will do everything possible to avoid this injustice. We are not prepared to stand politely by as more unfortunate families are destroyed through no fault of their own. Recourse to further demolitions will only further damage Spain’s image abroad. The authorities must be made to realise that to continue with these actions is not acceptable, is contrary to the rights of its citizens, attracts damaging and hostile publicity and is tantamount to economic suicide in this region.

Residentes de varias zonas de España se reúnen para oponerse a las órdenes de demolición recientemente entregado a varios residentes en varios pueblos de España.

Protestamos por la incertitud legal y urbanística, por la mala administración y corrupción, por la falta de respecto de los derechos humanos de los ciudadanos y por la falta de conformidad con la resolución del Parlamento Européo, incluso el informe "Auken", por parte de la administración.

No podemos relajar y ignorar estas demoliciones y hacemos todo lo posible para evitar esta injusticia. No estamos preparado para resignar y aceptarlo por cortesía, como más familias desafortunadas están destruidas sin estar culpable. Recurso a más demoliciones siempre va dañar el imágen de España en el extranjero. Las autoridades tienen que realizar que el seguimiento de estas acciones no es acceptable, es en el contrario a los derechos de sus ciudadanos, atraiga publicidad negativa y es equivalente a suicidio económico de esta región.
