    Comments: I think this is the best idea i have EVER seen. Children's Safety should be of the utmost importance to everyone. I am amazed that this has not been done before - especially after a child has already lost their life being struck by a vehicle on Burke Centre Parkway in the early morning school hours.

    Comments: Cars travel WAY in excess of posted speeds on BCP - something should have been done long ago - some type of school zone lights, signals, etc MUST be done IMMEDIATELY to ensure the safety of our children. Are the State and/ or FCPS waiting for a serious tradgedy to happen before they take this seriously and do anything about this situation??

    Comments: It is important that commuters realize that there is school on Burke Center Parkway and that is appropriate to slow down when passing our school. We want our children and community t be safe. We want to promote walking as way of transportation. The speed along the parkway especially in front of the school inhbits people from being able to safely walk along the parkway for any reason. It is time for drivers to slow down and allow our community the freedom to walk.

It is very dangerous and our childrens lives, parents and families are at risk of being hit by a car going 60 miles an hour. The passage of this bill need s to be a priority.
