I fear our president is looking in the wrong direction by hoping to further hamper the ownership of firearms by honest people who have obtained them legally. These aren't the "nuts" who are killing our kids after all!

    Comments: Until there are better controls for assault weapons and semi automatic weapons in our country, we have no choice but to ask for protection against people who have them and might use them in public places. I am aware that funding is already a huge issue, and I would never want teacher (or assistant) pay cut or positions cut in order to add security. It is understandable why so many parents such as myself are so deeply worried about this very troubling incident. My heart breaks for Connecticut and I pray we never have to face any such nightmare here.
