On January 17, the Brisbane School Board and the Bayshore School Board will make their decisions regarding merging the two school districts and moving the process forward to a general vote of the people. We feel the information presented so far does not provide the basis to make a responsible decision, and thus request that the school boards postpone any vote deciding their positions on the merger until more information is provided. This will allow the citizens to have a more respectful voice in the decision making process for the future of our School District. Based on current information, we are opposed to the merger.
