The Bowling Green Independent School and Warren County School districts in Bowling Green, KY have been in a disagreement about student cap recently. The Warren Co. school district is wanting to cut the cap on how many students that can attend Bowling Green school district that live in the Warren County school area. This is taking away the parents and the child's right to choose where they want to attend school. We all want the best for the children in our communities, but taking their right of choosing a proper school for their children could disallow the child to have a better education and a path of success in the view of the parent. So in all, this petition is to stop the Warren County School board and let the families have their right to attend any school of the child or parents choice in which they believe will be better for the child. Whether it be a child on the city wanting to go to the county, or a county kid wanting to come to the city.
