    Comments: I am a student who rides the bus everyday. I think this is a very good idea. Why wouldn't people want to protect the lives of 60 children on a bus When I am on the bus, I feel like I could fall out of the seat at any moment when the driver slams on brakes. I definitely think that seat belts should be on every bus!

    Comments: my daughter was injured along w/ her friend, because their bus hit a dip in the road. One w/ a broken leg the other w/ a fractured vertabrae. They flew around like popcorn in a popcorn popper. This is safe its not only about death, but about injury.

    Comments: I am doing a research paper on this issue, and I was injured in a bus accident my freshamn year of highschool. I broke my face in three places, shattered my nose, lost half of my blood supply and twenty pounds. I share you feelings and concern about school buses not having seat belts. Some say that compartmentalization is enough. Well, in my case, it wasn't.

    Comments: i think that it is a safety issue that there are no seat belts on buses but it is a state law that you have one on in a car. so why not a bus buses get into just as many motor vehicle accidents as cars do so why do we lack a law that protects our children when they are traveling on a bus
