This is a petition to gauge interest in starting a new organization at SCCP, MUSC Campus for those students interested in animal health. Our goal would be to improve pharmacists' ability to serve both human and animal patients by strengthening the knowledge base of students and practitioners in the field of veterinary pharmacy; culturing strong, mutually respectful relationships with veterinary providers and raising awareness about the special health needs and considerations of animals.
