CPS already comes to your home on fake reports and make you go through months and months and months of hell when your a good parent and its people that are just mad at you that call CPS. and then CPS makes you go through all this stuff!!! like drug tests, inpsection of your home, and have a child development company come in to see if your child is developing normally!!!! they have to much power as is right now and this will jsut give them more!!!!Flag

Name: Lisa Kean on Sep 2, 2009Comments: strongly object as well to the fact that SB 1440 would deny parents a hearing before court orders are signed against them, obliterating the Constitutional notion of due process. Child abuse and neglect is an awful crime, but I have also seen numerous abuses on the part of government agencies in prosecuted wrongfully perceived cases. SB 1440 does not balance these concerns and should be scrapped until something better can be devised.”Flag
