In regard to the usage of the Solana Beach Fletcher Cove Community Center, and to make the center available to the residing neighborhoods and community, a community garden should be installed, as well as a strategy team should be put in place specifically for the Community Center.

This Community Center is a gift, a WWII army barrack brought to Solana Beach by the Civic and Historical Society back in the 1940’s.  There is not a better way to honor the Centers History, by using it to the fullest and installing a community garden, bringing together children, adults, and contributing to Solana Beach and their “going green.”

A strategy, similar to a marketing team would also be put in place to keep focus on the center and control the usage, publicizing the events and communicating the concerns, questions, interests, or praise the community may give in regard to the Community Center.

To bring the community together, you must start on a common ground. Please help strengthen our community as well as change the view and usage of the Fletcher Community Center by adding your name to this petition.
