Stopping Sainsbury's Expansion Plans

53 Signatures Goal: 100

St. Albans Sainsbury's on Everard Close has submitted plans to the local council for a substantial extension, including a two storey car park. The full planning application can be accessed via the right-hand link. As local residents we do not feel that this extension is needed and will have a negative impact on those living in the area. A larger store means more: -Traffic congestion (substantial increase in deliveries) -Noise -Pollution -Empty shops in the town centre Please help us to 'Stop the Sainsbury's' Expansion Plans' by signing this online petition. Time is of essences as the public consultation period ends on Tues 7th April 2009. If you would like to get more involved please do not hesitate to contact Rebecca_prebble@hotmail.com. Thanking you in advance for your support. The local residents
