Say No To LOUD Advert Breaks

You are being insulted. Daily. Commercial TV and the advertising industry believe that by TURNING UP THE VOLUME during television advert breaks, they will make you spend money. I know you\'re not that stupid. You know you\'re not that stupid. Seems the only people who DON\'T know it are the TV companies. Now I could live with a TV company thinking I\'m stupid. What I can\'t tolerate is having to leap for the remote every ad-break, so I don\'t wake the kids or annoy the neighbours. Programme makers record at 80% of the maximum permitted level, so that their sponsors can make a bigger impact on your ears. Sign below if you want to be free to choose your own volume setting.

    7 years ago Comments: It is ridiculous that they are so loud, and pointless. Infact, more people are turning the sound off or down when the adverts come on that the advertising companies are shooting themselves in the foot as more people switch off.
