the council officially rejected the incinerator plans and we actually pulled it off. i cant believe the project is dead but im so glad we kept pushing back together. lets stay sharp just in case they decide to try something like this again.

so worried about the health risks to the little ones at school. just put it somewhere else where people dont live.
This is completely wrong. My kids go to that school and we shouldnt be having fumes like this right next to where they learn and play. Shame on them for even trying.
ive lived in tockwith for 20 years and this is the worst idea ive seen yet. the roads cant take all those lorries and the pollution is a massive worry for us all.
NOT IN OUR VILLAGE. 18m stack is an eyesore and dangerous for our health. stop this now.
Tockwith is a quiet village and we dont need heavy trucks ruining our roads and air quality everyday. Keep this industrial trash away from our homes.

im strongly against the development of a waste disposal unit in what is a beautiful village and and to profit from using this obviously cost effective land to contaminate an area with no walk ways on roads with large construction vehicles and heavy pollution is a disgrace to the community terry davies chef tickled trout inn 07542098661
