Name: Yossi Havusha on Jan 11, 2013Comments: This is not a good decision. I hope they will bring a representative from the Israeli Consulate in Toronto once every two-three months to verify the documents that already signed by a notary public and then the documents will be sent to Toronto to continue the process.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 12, 2013Comments: This is one more way in which having an Israeli citizenship has become a liability rather than a privilege. The only reason we keep our Israeli passports is since it is mandatory for entry and exit to Israel. The cost of keeping those current (so far we have done this on our visits to Israel) also adds up with absolutely no value to me when the time comes we'll just have to give up our citizenship.Flag
