The Governing body and decision makers at Treehouse school have decided to extend the summer holiday by a week, making it a month long holiday. They did this with no transparent consultation with the families at Treehouse and although have sent the term dates home they have not highlighted the extension of summer holiday.

As parents I feel we have the right to be consulted in a transparent way about such decisions which will impact on our families so severely. We as parents and guardians do not have the chance to meet up to discuss our feelings about things at school and this goes in the decision makers favour as we are usually lone voices.

If you feel as strongly as we do about this extension of the holiday with no transparent consultation or explanation please sign the petition to show the decision makers we care about what happens to our families and we can unite as a parent group when it comes to such important changes.
