Local council and magicseaweed are trying to put a webcam in porthleven.
Porthleven is a dangerous place for the inexperienced to enter the water. Experienced surfers do not need a webcam to determine the suitability of the conditions. A webcam will attract inexperienced water users, which could have a detrimental effect on the number of serious (and non serious) casualties that occur each year. I object in the interests of the local community and preventing serious harm to inexperienced water users.
