Name: Les Doe on Nov 16, 2012Comments: It is a duty incumbent upon every medical person to protect life and to do no harm. A culture of death is pervading the NHS in the UK. A dark shadow is stalking our hospitals and care homes. The right to death is becoming paramount over the right to life. The LCP is providing a new-found legitimacy and cover to an unspoken policy that has, actually, been in place for decades!Flag

Name: Eileen Skidmore on Jun 13, 2013Comments: My mother was put in the respite ward of Moseley Hall Hospital in Birmingham for one week's respite whilst I took a much needed break from caring. She was not ill on admission, she has dementia but is other wise fine and most definitely does not want to die. I was rung up on the evening before she was due to come home saying they were not going to send her home because she was dying. I was furious! This was done without my consent. I have Power of Attorney for her health, I fought tooth and nail to get her home, she arrived home thin and the colour of pastry and heavily sedated. I am disgusted that I can no longer trust this respite ward, what they were doing was murder. Since getting home she has eaten and drunk and is gradually coming out of the drug haze. She said she was sorry and believes the hospital was trying to punish her for things she had done wrong, not that she ever has done anything wrong. Doctors are now becoming little more than filth with no morals and no decency and are demeaning their profession as are the politicians who are sanctioning this murder of the vulnerable..Flag
