Comments: as usual the people who can least afford it are targetted by those who probably have no idea of or need for a mortgage on their first or their second, third and god knows however many others "homes", wherever they may be located around the world. Not to mention the knock-on effect on the local housing market and associated services.

Comments: I diagree with each of Gavin St P's reasons for going ahead with this. I believe it will badly affect 1st time buyers & have little effect on so-called property inflation.

Comments: I cant afford a mortgage at present , but would like this to remain so i can aim to in the future, most people are struggling so what take it away and cause more problems with rent increases.

Comments: In these difficult times abolishing this tax relief will have a devastating affect on our local economy, as the lower middle earners who have been forced to take large mortgages will struggle further to live day to day, meaning they will have even less money to be able to support our local retail industry for one. Please reconsider for the locals.
