Name: Linda Batiste on Nov 18, 2012Comments: Another way to rob the hard working men and women of Guernsey. Let the scroungers sit on their backsides whilst we pay their benefits. And allow the rich trust companies pay nothing towards our economy. Yet the people who need this allowance to get by are robbed yet again. And your poor excuses you give for reasons why are not valuable.why don't the deputies pay back the £2.6m back out of their own pockets and start taxing companies that really can afford it. One last point we are Guernsey - we ARE NOT England we don't need to copy what they do, their cost of living is a lot cheaper than Guernsey!Flag

Name: D Canty-Forrest on Nov 18, 2012Comments: The states should stop spending such huge sums of money on public projects when we are in the middle of a recession, these should be put on hold for the next two years at least. For such a small population the money the sites spend on these projects is fritghtening. If here is this money available then a two year hold should easily fill up the the black whole we have in the treasury. The states spend and loose and mismanage our money and then look to the tax payer to bail them out by further making our lives just that bit harder due the there incompetence.Flag
