Dear Congressmen, We are sick and tired of the rhetoric and political games that you have been playing in Washington DC. We firmly believe that threatening to not raise the debt ceiling is no way to fix America's long term debt problems. The consequences of not raising the debt ceiling are unacceptable and will be devastating to the American way of living and economy. We strongly implore all members of Congress to look beyond partisan lines and find a compromise before the August 2nd deadline. The United States of America was founded on the principle of individuals compromising personal ideological perspectives for the greater good and we feel that the you all should look to the founders as an example of compromise. We feel that the founders of America would be ashamed of the way you have drawn ideological lines that you refuse to cross. We question whether or not you have lost touch with the reality of every-day life in America. We are Americans for compromise! We appeal to you, our representatives, to look beyond ideology and find a compromise that will save the United States.
