Given that Social Security is being threatened with extinction, and given that this is one of the most successful and popular government programs, government should respond to the wishes of the people and work to preserve Social Security as is. We don't want vouchers for health insurance, or other gimmicks to eliminate benefits.

Currently, only the first $110,100.00 a person earns per year are subject to Social Security tax. The vast majority of wage earners are paid less than $110,100.00 annually, and are taxed on 100% of earned wages. High wage earners are paying less, on a percentage basis, and their taxes should be brought in line with the rest of America.

 I beleive this is an area of increased revenue that should be acted upon.
