I am starting this petition for my daughter who was sexually abused by a man of our peers in our own community. My daughter deserves justice and the justice we are seeking is for Lee Ons Burns to register as a sex offender here in Saginaw Michigan. Her innocence was taken away with an unwanted touch, a touch she will always remember. On March 27, 2012 this man pleads to a lesser charge the poly graph says he did do what he was accused of and then so more. My daughter is not the only one that was sexually assaulted by this man, however she was the bravest to come forward. And because this man is 65 yrs old the courts believe that he is not a threat to anyone. Once a predator always a predator this is just the first time he was caught and brought to justice. I am trying to get signatures so that he will have to register as a sex offender in the state of michigan. I feel this is fair and that its enough justice. He cant keep getting away with this type of behavior.
