This is a petetion to stop the removal of memorials that are placed in rememberance of loved ones throughout the State of Mississippi. Recently there has been removal of memorial crosses and flowers from a persons family in Cophia County, MS and now across to other counties where family is being contacted to remove their memorials. MDOT is stating that this is a distraction to passing motorist and also will hamper mowing efforts.
