Name: Julie Reppert on Oct 4, 2012Comments: I am a former broadcast student and music director at WPTC. The station was like my second home during my student career at Penn College. I chose to attend Penn College only after visiting the radio station my senior year of high school. I continue to support WPTC as a volunteer and would do anything to keep it up and running. Other colleges, such as Lock Haven, are fighting to get a radio station at their school, while Penn College is pushing their spectacular facility out. WPTC has a listener base of not only college students, but the surrounding community. To take that away would be a huge mistake! The majority of my college experience was through the classes I attended within my major and helping to run the radio station. Now I feel like that is all being taken away from me in a sense. All of my hard work and the hard work of the broadcast and mass media students is just disappearing with the loss of the station. Save WPTC!Flag

Name: Tima Cummings on Oct 4, 2012Comments: the statation should change its format to todays top 40 hits or 80's 90's and the 200's. in my opinion the college cumunity is most likely to listen to the radio that has a variety not just one genre of musicFlag

I hope the powers-that-be will change their minds...we NEED your station. It's a breath of fresh air! WPTC is my favorite radio station in Williamsport!Flag

Name: Conrad Shull on Oct 7, 2012Comments: WPCT is a world class jazz station. The truth is the station was/is unlistenable EXCEPT when it functions as a jazz station. Any institution would be PROUD to be connected with this extraordinary jazz station. Disregarding it's original function as a training station for Media majors, it's hard to understand how anyone in the Marketing Department cannot see the clear wisdom of continued funding of the station, a station that has class and prestige in equal measure to the wine list of Le Jeune Chef.Flag

I think my experience on WPTC 88.1 The Best In College Radio helped mold me into the person I am today. I would love to help keep WPTC on the air....Keep me informed!Flag
