Spurred by public statements and recent news stories, many fans of Hollywood actor Will Smith [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Smith] have become concerned that the actor has fallen prey to the controversial and cult-like organization, the Church of Scientology. Many fans, including us, believe that the dangerous cult is in the process of indoctrinating, and in fact, brain washing, the “Fresh Prince” star. We believe Mr. Smith is in imminent danger. We also have been made aware that Mr. Smith has been pressured to assert himself publically as a marketing tool for the Church of Scientology. The result would be necessarily bad for both the recruits the Church of Scientology seeks to garner, and for the career of Mr. Smith. As long term fans of Mr. Smith, we urge him to not succumb to the suffocating influence of the Church of Scientology.
Thus, all that sign this petition stand united in declaring a message of support and love for one of the greatest actors of our generation. We, the masses of the internet, ask that you, Will Smith, protect yourself from the dark forces that surround you. Do not do the bidding of the Church of Scientology. Dispel its power with knowledge.
