Zack Jud, United States2 years ago Comments: Please do not take a beautiful portion of Wickham Park away from the public. With remaining patches of native habitat growing evermore scarce, there is no reason to develop land that was intended to be conserved in perpetuity. Once Florida's fragile native habitats are destroyed by development, there is no getting them back. Development should not come at the cost of the threatened species that call Wickham Park home, particularly with the abundance of already-cleared property in Brevard County. Eastern Florida State College should not be allowed to turn a beautiful natural area into just another developed piece of land. Go build on a vacant lot somewhere else!
