Save the James Webb Space Telescope!

The James Webb Space Telescope is NASA's under-construction successor to the Hubble. The JWST promises to greatly expand our knowledge of the cosmos by seeing further than any telescope before it. When it launches in 2018, it will provide new insights on the formation of our universe and take glorious new pictures of the cosmos.

Though NASA has already completed 75% of the telescope, its price tag makes some in Congress worry that JWST is not worth the price. Sign this petition to tell Congress that the James Webb Space Telescope is worth funding! JWST will further our scientific understanding, increase our sense of wonder, and give us new insights on our place in the universe.
