   Comments: UCCE is an essential service both to agriculture, but to the general public, including the very important 4-H program, as well. In these troubled times, we need to support and encourage those who produce our food. Additionally, UCCE helps families put in home or community gardens to help with household expenses and provide close food sources.

    Comments: UC Extension, especially the 4-H program, provides vast health, nutrition and educational services to the community at large. In these times, we can ill afford to abandon them. In the ag industry sector, extension is a invaluable and necessary resource to farmers and ranchers. I cannot believe we would even consider cuttinhg back on the resources that feed us.
