Name: Anonymous on Sep 21, 2008Comments: The Corolla Horses have been here longer than anyone and yet they are being driven to extinction. I own a Corolla filly and I wish that she could still be running free on the beach with her mother. She will never see her mother again but the other horses that claim the beach deserve to run free and untouched.Flag

Name: Susan Cook on Sep 21, 2008Comments: I have just experienced my first vacation in Corolla. I chose Corolla because of the wild horses. If you decrease the herd size to 60 I believe that you will undermine the health of the heard and decrease the wealth of your town. Please reconsider keeping the herd at at least 120. Thank You, Susan CookFlag

Name: Cyndi Fisher on Sep 21, 2008Comments: These horses are incredible animals. The Coastal NC areas that they ing-habit should be proud of the herutage . Ecotourism and conservationism are hot topics and can be a way for the state to bring in more dollars. These animals need your support. If there is anything I can personally do let me know. Thank you for supporting the expansion of the herd to a healthy level and continued support of what makes NC unique.Flag

The next category is extinction. The referenced management plan will likely ensure the eradication of this wonderful national equine treasure. Please consideration action to prevent this tragedy.
