The University of Salford have decided in a new rebranding scheme to change the logo form the red and green lion to boring black and red text which for some unknown reason states that we are in Manchester. Salford is a separate city so this is a mistake in itself but they also failed to ask opinions of students ans staff, despite stating that they did. Anyone who feels the lion logo should stay please sign this petition in the hope that we, as a student voice, can make a difference to the uni that we are proud of.
