| 1854 | Karen Edwards | I am sad and shocked to hear the art school is scheduled for closing by the end of March 2007. With 1800 students using the school last year, why destroy such a successful community resource for the arts? If it is a question of funds, have a fund raising campaign, preserve the school, preserve the resource for our community. |
| 1855 | S Berman | If the Saidye needs community help ($), please please please start a fundraising campaign. We can't lose this important institution! |

| 1858 | Terrance Frank Lazaroff | This is an important centre to promote both arts and culture. |
| 1859 | Sherif | No one seems to understand the importance of Art nowadays. Because it is not necessarly as money making as other big industries, it is relayed to the state of "useless". But take off Arts from our lives, and you get empty lives, we lose the beauty and the passion. We lose what makes us different from all other creatures on earth. |

| 1872 | anna mcgarrigle | i was very sorry to read about the closing of the saidye bronfman centre for the arts, a unique and terrific place, where over the years i've had the chance to draw and paint and do other things under the guidance of some wonderful teachers. it breaks my heart to see all this disappear. i've made my living as a musician but i am a graduate of the ecole des beaux arts in montreal when it was in its hayday. that great little school was eventually folded into uquam. i think of the saidye as being the same kind of special place, where the emphasis is on individual creativity without all the extraneous stuff that sometimes comes with chartered universities or learning institutions.
to the powers that be, please reconsider this drastic measure.
thank you.

| 1880 | Anonymous | This would be a terrible terrible loss to a city that has already been reduced almost to the point of being a second class city . Shame shame |
| 1881 | Anonymous | It would be to see this center closed for it offers an important alternative to the university art programs |

| 1888 | Carol McKeown | It would be very sad if this happened. |
| 1889 | Reni Chase | I attended the Saidye Bronfman Center School of Fine Arts during the '80's and benefitted enormously from my sculpture classes. I hope it is not too late to voice my plea to keep this school open, serving an important role for Montreal artists! |

| 1892 | Anonymous | Only having had the chance to finally discover the Saidye Bronfman centre for arts in the last two years I am deeply disappointed to see a deliberate choice tobring about the end to an institution which provided such an amazing interface and outlet to the general public..... |
| 1894 | Hilary Thomson | this is just really sad. something has to be done about it. |
| 1895 | joanne gaudreau | This place should be placed as a historical site it is so important for the community. |
| 1896 | Ann Malka | The Sadie Bronfman Center for the Arts was the best alternative to a University education. I thank the Center for launching me into the arts and preparing me wth a portfolio in order to get admitted into the Fine Arts program & complete a degree in Painting and Art History. |
| 1897 | parastu | hi,i am so sorry to know about that.because i came to Montreal on 09,2007.and i'm looking for a good art school to study painting,bt i couldnt find any.
