| 1752 | Carlos Birlain | It is a real shame the closing of this great institution which has been the scenario for many artist and lovers of the art in Montreal. In a world so competive and always under the hamer of stress, places like this become substantially important into the human nature and contributes to appreciate the life thru a kaleidoscopic world where the dreams and imaginations land in the human nature.
Perhaps there are some other options which can avoid this dark destiny, some times the art of surviving gets more importance in critical moments than any of the best and most worthables arts. |

| 1755 | carol sculnick | i have taken classes of all sorts over many years and always found the teachers above par and the learning experience invaluable and fun. |
| 1756 | sidney J. Zoltak | Please do not close the art school at The SBC. It would be a tremendous loss to the community's cultural life. |

| 1758 | Robert Elman | As a former chairman of the fine arts committee I can attest to the multitude of benefits that our community has derived over the many years of the existence of the Fine Arts School, in particular.
It must be allowed to continue to serve our citizens |
| 1759 | Linda Mendes | I think that administrators of the S.B. Centre of the Arts have a great responsibilitytowards their students and employees who have been loyal for so many years and thus have contributed to the growth and succes of the Centre. It is known from reliable sources that the financial reasons given to close the Centre are not valid. So what is the real reason?????? |

| 1762 | larry zoltak | its a shame...... |
| 1763 | Marie-Josée Morin | Je crois qu'il est impératif de sauver cette institution active dans l'art actuel. Le monde artistique dispose déjà de ressources limitées, pourquoi réduire encore l'accès à la création!!! |

| 1772 | Suzane Renaud | Saidye Bronfman has provided to the Montreal community an irreplacable art school for the last forty years. It is busy, helpful and of vital importance to Montreal graphic arts. Dont destroy it by closing it down ! |
| 1773 | Dahan-Oliel, Noémi | It is very unfortunate that sponsors do not recognize the importance of the Saidie Bronfman Art Centre which is widely known and recognized. People from various communities and from all age groups have benefited from its wonderful art courses. It is surprising that our community is letting this happen, to the detriment of so many. Maybe some miracle solution could take place before the end of March...? |

| 1775 | Anonymous | This would be a great loss to Montreal's Community and Heritage. |
| 1776 | Billy Toufexis | Montreal needs more arts centres, not less! |
| 1777 | Anonymous | This would really be a shame. In light of all the emphasis on culture and the arts in Montreal, centres like this are sorely needed for developing talent and encouraging community. |

| 1785 | Tamar Granovsky | The Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts has played an important part in the arts community in Montreal. It will be very sad for the city, province and country if the School of Fine Arts closes. |

| 1794 | Deanna FOGSTROM | Please cease and desist from this fool hardy closure. Involvement in Fine Arts brings balance, health and wealth to all those who are involved and others who are neighbours.
I am deeply disturbed by this iminent closure.
Yours truly,
Deanna Fogstrom |
| 1795 | Rosemarie Proietti | My son goes to the fine arts classes, and he would be devastated if he knew it would close down. Lets do everthing possible to keep it open. its for the kids. |

| 1797 | Hedy Dab | I was a teacher at the first camp of the arts. I tought film production to children 6 to 13 years of age. Today some of my students have become film makers, actors, and technicians in this disipline. They tell me that my influence on their future contribution to our society was determined at that time when I tought them. It is a big mistake that you are making in the closure of this art center. You will be putting out many great teachers and many future students and potencial future artist will have to go elswhere. I truely believe that replacing the art center with a performing arts school will be a great loss to all. There are already six perfoming arts schools in Montreal and that's already much more than the city can support . So you will be educating people who will inevitable not give back to the community because they will have no choice but to go outside of the province and even the country to be able to work in their disipline. Unfortunately by illiminating the art center you will loose money, I'd put a bet on that. Even if you invite people to study in Montreal from the world at large, they won't come . One , because of the climate and two because they will have to speak french or both depending on who you're targeting. It's a great loss that your creating and as a filmmaker and supporter of the arts, you are making a huge mistake. This is a no brainer! Someone's dream maybe, but many's nightmare. You'll see! |
