Evy Stern Farbstein | As a former Montrealer, I have wonderful memories of courses and exhibits at the Saidye. The closure of the School of Fine Arts and the Youth Institute would be a terrible loss to Montreal's creative community and to all who enjoy the arts.

Anonymous | I would have never learned to draw, paint, or sculpt if it had not been for the tolerant, liberal, and experimental philosophy of the SBC. There were many more courses that I had planned to take there, after having already completed eight. The talented artists who taught those courses would never have been accessible to me otherwise.

Sarah Moyal | My son with developmental issues flourished at the Saidye's summer art camp. The professionalism and care he received was wonderful and instrumental for him developing a talent he could be proud of. All of his teachers commented on how much he approved after attending the Saidye's summer art camp. My son spoke about it for months afterward and was devasted when I told him that it would no longer be available. This is a great tragedy for anyone with special needs who greatly benefitted from the Fine Arts departemnt. I ceratainly hope that the decision to close the centre will be re-evaluated.
Maurice Moyal | The School of Fine Arts and youth programming is a vital institution of the Montreal Jewish community. A void will be left should the centre close.

nogah rotstein | It really saddened me to hear the the centre will no longer be offering courses. I absolutely loved the art classes that I took and truly hope that with our support it will stay open and continue to serve the community with its wonderful courses!
netta rotstein | please keep the centre open! the photograpy and art courses I took were wonderful and it would be a terrible shame to lose this rich institution.
