Name: Ryan on Mar 22, 2008Comments: Please do not allow new flats to be built around the meadows. i do not believe the destruction will be negligeable and the influx of accomodation will destroy the use of the area. - adhere to European Directive, Agenda 21 which states that local authorities should consult with the public on planning matters affecting their environment -Flag

Name: Simon Hodges on Mar 22, 2008Comments: I'm seriously unhappy with the development that's ruined the meadows so far and further blocks like the hideous ones Unite has already built would further deplete the soul of one of Edinburgh's jewels. It needs to be protected.Flag

Name: Alan Cameron on Mar 22, 2008Comments: As a former Edinburgh resident of 25 years - hoping soon to return - I am in despair as to what is happening to the city I regard as my home. Off the top, I can think of at least ten sites for this building which would be better than Chalmers Street. It's the kind of thinking, or lack of it, which gave us such glories as Appleton Tower, the Potterrow, and the David Hume Tower. NO!!!!!!!!!!Flag

Name: Abi Stuart on Mar 22, 2008Comments: i love the meadows and dont want it trashed with cheaply made accomodation that charges a fortune for rent- the building plan will look odd in these surroundings. It is a historic place should be left alone to be enjoyed by all local residents not money making university sponsored construction companies.Flag

Don't let it happen to Edinburgh!! Good luck with it all - remember to play by their rules - that way they HAVE to play by them too.Flag
