Name: Simon Mellins on Feb 26, 2008Comments: I have loved thejazz so much for the past 15 months that it's been with us. Much of my family and social network all have enjoyed the superb service this station has provided, reminding us of the golden days of 102.2 JazzFM, and actually surpassing them with the superb content, lovely presenters and a broad musical pallete. GCAP apparently cares more about short-term profits than about longterm quality and loyalty to the fanbase it has created with this station. I wont be listening to any other GCAP broadcasts again - apart from anything, I'm afraid to get attached to something that might be pulled off air the moment its profits dip.Flag

Name: Simon Mellins on Feb 26, 2008Comments: I am bitterly disappointed to hear of theJazz being closed. Gcap evidently dont care much about their listeners, just short-term panic profiteering. Thejazz was listened to by most of my family and many of my friends, and has been an absolute joy to grace my DAB. The fantastic music and presenters made for a station myself, family and friends had planned on listening to for many years to come - regrettably, Gcap evidently do not value this sort of loyalty or recognise opportunities to build good brands when they see them.Flag
