Barbara ColeI am at the moment having Iscador and homoeopathic treatment at the Homoeopathic Hospital in London. I was hoping to be able to transfer to Tunbridge Wells to save having to travel to London regularly. I am forced to pay for my own treatment as the Adur, Arun & Worthing PCT does not fund referrals to the homoeopathic hospitals. I am appealing against this decision on the grounds that the RLHH is the hospital of my choice, it is an NHS hospital and Iscador is a licensed medicine. I have been told my appeal is unlikely to succeed.
Tim SandersonWith all good wishes.
Chris PonsfordWe need to respect GPs professional decisions and patient's choice. This service is vital to the whole of the region.
Lucy DaweThis clinic is vital to the well being of so many people. Please do not close it and take away a very valuable alternative for those of us who have severe reactions to a great many conventional medicines.
Helen HerringThe homeopathic Hospital has been an important part of my treatment for a hip complaint in the past. I would like to believe that the facility will remain for further treatment when needed in the future.
m danielsclosure of such facilities is atrocious and a great loss for the community
W B NessI am a great believer in Homoeopathic medicine and deplore the proposed closure of the one and only hospital of this type in the area.

Tina RobbinsThis wonderful resource is precious and I urge you to continue to keep this clinic open and helping the general public. These homeopathic practices are so rare and it would be a terrible shame to loose this one.

AnonymousWhy try and close down something that works and is relatively inexpensive cf some of teh more expensive pharmaceutical drugs that have dangerous side effects

Jane CarrAs an ex-patient of the Tunbridge Wells Homeopathic Hospital I am appalled by the idea that it may be closing. I was refferred there by my doctor and was helped tremendously during my treatment there. I would like to think that I can rely on being able to use it's service in the future. Please do not allow this important institution to disappear.
Susan RoseThis hospital was a life saver for myself and my daughter and it MUST stay so that it can help others for many years to come. In the broad term the labour government has failed us by its poor accounting and financial wastage and then it turns round and attempts to repair damage by closing vital health services. We, the people, should not suffer for their mistakes. We have a RIGHT to a FIRST CLASS NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE.
Kate ManI fully support the Homeopathic Hospital at Tunbridge Wells. We need to have access to this type of service, which does provide relief and benefit for thousands of patients. The waiting lists at the hopsital in London are long already. Where would all the patients from Sussex and Kent go if Tunbridge Wells was closed? As a complementary therapist, I know how people with intractable pain and long term conditions benefit, and the teaching and research are also valuable in adding to our evidence base.

Simon DibleyPlease SHUT THIS HOSPITAL DOWN NOW! The NHS should fund evidence based medicine that works, not this snake oil bullshit. It pains me to think that any money has ever gone to this place. All the real doctors and nurses who could have benefitted from that money have been betrayed by the NHS ever funding these charlatans.

Sarah RapleyThe Hospital has helped 2 of my 3 children with ailments that conventional medicine did not cure. Please don't shut it down - it's a GOOD thing to have it.

AnonymousThe availability of complementary therapies is of fundamental importance to a community. It is both ignorant and negligent to remove this facility thinking that traditional medicine can take care of every ills. The approach to healing is complex and all doctors and healers need whatever resource available to assist patients. Accountants should not be making decisions about patient care - and in this case about patient care in other counties. I strongly urge everyone who favours choice over type of healthcare to sign the petition and inform their friends about this situation.

Antony PalmerIt would be a travesty of justice for this fine institution to be destroyed because the establishment do not believe in patient choice. This is a fight that must not be lost under any circumstances.

Mrs Sue WilkinsonI have been treated on the NHS for 22 years for chronic hayfever and asthma. After developing the symptoms in November, I went to my local GP and enquired about Homoeopathic medicine, he referred me to the Hospital. It opened a new world, no hayfever, reduced asthma and access to animals. They recommend continuing with conventional medicine although I hardly ever have to take any, surely this reduces prescription costs?

John HopkinsIt's about time this waste of money & places like it are shut down. good riddance. Check out the James Randi Website http://www.randi.org/ to see the truth about this homoeopathic rubbish
jane taylorTo the NHS idiot descion makers, please do not be so short sight and utterly distructive as to close such a safe and effective resource. Do proper research into your descion making.
Emma MihillHospitals in this manner are a vital part of our national health system, they are leading the way with successful health treatment and should be encouraged, not shut down.

AnonymousAs a university student studying biomedical science i find it disheartening that in a country such as England, we are unable to chose to be treated holistically.
