| 601 | sandra gerhold | it would be a shame to destroy this vital cultural center. Are they just going to mowe down every historic building in their wake? Why not build closer to charity where they were. They are using up too much of our precious midcity. | LA | |

| 604 | Thomas Hofer | This is the fourth or fifth time I am signing this petition. And as I do so, I am very upset that the leadership of the Deutsches Haus did not team up with the Committee to Re-open Charity Hospital so as to empower that committee even more so. That is simply intolerable. As I also stated in my book ONE YEAR - AND BEYOND (now published and available for purchase), the Deutsches Haus is a part of New Orleans history and should remain where it is. I simply cannot fathom its wanton destruction. I would be glad to assist the Deutsches Haus with contacts with the Committee to reopen Charity Hospital. The time to act is NOW!! | LA | 70380 |
| 605 | Thomas Hofer | I am not happy with the fact that meetings are being held to possibly select another location for the Deutsches Haus. I again sing the petition to preserve the Haus in its current location, and again encourage the Haus staff to team up with the Committee to Re-Open Charity Hospital. Please contact me at my phone number given for further details. The fusion between the Deutsches Haus and the Charity Hospital Committee should have taken place a long time ago. | LA | 70380 |
