| 11 | kurt flair | The Deutsches Haus and it membership should not be penalized and lumped in with (and forced out along with) the blight in that area. There is no reason why there cannot be a slight redesign to accommodate one of the few groups that have endured that awful neighborhood for as long as they have. The space available in that plot of land which the hospital desires is enormous; why do both hospitals have to sit on top of the Haus? Why is that? Spread out the buildings and link them with air-conditioned sky walks like the ones already in use at LSU Medical center on Claiborne. Keep Galvez open to traffic and let it be green space and an asset to both campuses. To be rudely kicked out with the blight will be a worse event than Katrina was for the Haus; it will be literally devastating. Why can’t the State stand behind a law abiding organization who has stood by the State for so long? I’ll bet if St. Joseph’s church was at 200 S. Galvez they would accommodate it or steer away completely.
The Deutsches Haus is exactly that – “The Deutsches Haus”; the Organization is nothing without the building for which it was named after. | LA | 70118 |

| 13 | Klaus J. Kueck | The Haus is a place where I can connect with my father and grandfather, it is also a place where members donated time, sweat, sometimes blood and money to get the Haus back to it's present beautiful condition. We have been there through good and bad times and now that the neigborhood is on the upswing it is so unjust and unfair to even consider displacing the Haus after all it's members have been through. | LA | 70123 |

| 16 | Karen Webb | For as long as I can remember (early 1940's), the Deutches Haus has been part of my German family's heritage- grandparents, father and uncle, cousins- all have been part of it. It would be a shame to lose it now. Surely it is an asset to the city and should be preserved. | NY | 12019 |

| 21 | Aaron Ronksley | It would be a travesty to lose or have to move an organization that has so much history rooted in this location. There obviously must be a better choice of location for the proposed hospitals. | LA | 70118 |
| 22 | tommy wolfe | I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE HALL USAGE, AND THE GREAT PLEASURE IT HAS RENDERED TO THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS, I STRONGLY
REJECT THE IDEA THAT IT BE DESTROYED. | LA | 70123 |

| 30 | Geoff Grigg | Don't destroy a piece of history, we need to be able to refer to history so that we can safely plan our future. A lot of Politicians seem to forget that simple piece of advice today. So do not let them destroy an important piece of Louisana History. | | |
