The proposal to trade land in peaceful, shaded Riverdale Park for "parkette" on the busy corner of Broadview/Gerrard is an affront to this community. Keep the park lands for the park! The only possible reason not to develop the corner, which Bridgepoint controls, for mixed commercial/condo development is the views from the park. Those views are common property, and the half round building is a local landmark of architectural significance. Neither should be traded away to Bridgepoint Health! |
