We have a Gulf oil spill that needed help sooner rather than later. Instead you deferred to the BP execs because you have them as part of your inner circle. They have failed. It is time to take drastic action. Suggestions were made to use heavy explosives to seal the break. Like it or not, that may be our only current alternative. This situation cannot wait until technology catches up to the problem. We need solutions now. Stop dithering.

   Comments: I cannot believe in this day and age America would refuse help. We offer help to everyone so why not get some in return. Thousands of animals are losing their lives not to mention the thousands of peopleout of work because of greed and incompetence. This should be a wake up call to get away from fossil fuels we have the technology to do so. The next question is why are we not using that technology?

    Comments: I think our country is willing to do all the work that it would take to clean up the oil in the water, but most will want pay for their services and that is just fine. The oil company has lots of money. After all the Gulf belongs to all of us and if we would do something to them, then there would be lots of courts busy trying to get our money.
