Comments: Please do the right thing for now only Westwood, the City of Cincinnati but more importantly for Mr. James N. Gamble. He would NEVER have allowed this to happen to this estate which meant so much to him and for you to allow this to happen is disrespectful to him and his family to say the least. You should be ashamed of yourselves..

Comments: Please reconsider tearing down this historic piece of Cincinnati history. There is far too much destruction of our historic landmarks in this area. We should appreciate and embrace our history as towns like Charleston and Savannah do.

Comments: This house has been a symbol of the grace that Westwood stood for in the past. It has given me hope that there is still this sort of grace in our community. If it is torn down, it gives ownership to the fact that Westwood has been reduced to badly constructed apartments and non-caring tenants. It would end the beauty of Westwood permanently, giving permission to finally turn us into urban rubble.

Comments: This property is so much a part of the Westwood neighborhood it feels like "home", even though we've never been inside the main house (although we've always wanted to). It would be a crime to destroy such a beautiful piece of our neighborhood heritage. An example of what could be done with the property may be seen in the Mansfield, OH Kingwood Center. Beautiful gardens (open to the public), weddings/balls/conferences held in the main house, outdoor musical concerts, etc. What an asset to the community!

Comments: A worthwhile endeavor....a city landmark. It's hard to believe that the Greenacres Foundation is being so hard to deal with. Mr. Randolph sounds like he has no interest in finding a community solution.

Comments: To whom it may concern, I do understand Greenacres Foundation view and fitting their goals to their mission, but I am hoping Greenacres will understand the importance to continue making Westwood a stronger neighborhood and look at the assets on hand to strengthen the community not lessen the vibrant of one's community. I am hoping Greenacres will re-think their position and see how keeping the Gamble House could make their goals more vibrate. I do understand Greenacres passion for their work striving to succeed in their goals and mission. I also know Greenacres Foundation have the power to remove the house and to live up to the agreement of the terms of the land. I also know by working on the Westside for numbers of years we must look at the total picture not only one mission but see other wonderful opportunities to fit with in the community which will result a more prosperous endeavors. I am hoping Greenacres Foundation will look at the Gamble house has an assets and will postpone the demolition and work with leaders of the community, city leaders, and other stakeholders to come up with a plan that will enhance Greenacres Foundation endeavors and keeping a city landmark resulting Westwood a place that people come to appreciate, a place to live, and take advantage by visiting the old Gamble Estate. I do understand the importance by saving history since I live about 10 miles away from your main campus just outside of Loveland, Ohio on our family farm that was acquired in 1844. I do love the Westside since my German heritage dates back to 1848 when my family moved into the area. I have lived all my life on the Westside until June of 2009. I think it will be a mistake tearing down the old Gamble house. Please reconsider your decision and work with community leaders, and other stakeholders to see a way to preserve house and use it to your advantage to make your Foundation more prosperous. Talk is cheap, I know but I am willing to devote some time to look outside of the box to see the feasibility to reach Greenacres’s goals and to preserve the house to make it a landmark that everyone will benefit from this endeavor. Thank you for your time. Sincerely Rob Geiger Owner of the John Ramsey Jr. Farm Family owned since 1844 PO Box 25 Loveland, Ohio 45140

Comments: The wrong thing to do is to tear down Cincinnati history. The City of Cincinnati needs this house more than it needs, street cars. They will be coming out with self generating electric street cars. Use the money to put those awful overhead electric lines from the . street cars. Put the money where it counts in preserving the Gamble Homestead. I understand, do our officials get the point.

Comments: I love Greenacres, my children take many classes there.... I can't believe that they would even consider demolishing this amazing building, that I gaze at longingly everytime I drive down Werk (a few clocks from my house). I hope that you get many signatures, and Greenacres sees that they need to reconsider this decision. It seems almost counter-intuitive to their general mission.
