Comments: the fairgrounds are a piece of history for beamsville i may not live in beamsville anymore but move the fairgrounds and the town of lincoln will lose business when it comes time for the county fair because noone is gonna want to travel up the mountain just to go to the fair and the strawberry festival

Comments: i grew up across the street from the fairgrounds. played my first soccer games there when i was seven (and am still playing to this day...21 years later!), spent hours on those fields just practicing the perfect shot (and this was just last year), have been to all but 2 of the fall fairs despite no longer living in Beamsville. I take my dogs for walks there when visiting my folks, and take my nephew to the playground as well. I am ashamed that the town of Beamsville would sell out this site for the mere sake of yet another eyesore of a subdivision. The streets are lined with traffic on a daily bases already, and the new amount of garbage around town disgusts me. For the sake of my parents view (and house/ property value, for this will greatly affect both) I say NO to more subdivision (and strip malls which will most likely sit half empty as all others in Beamsville do)
