Name: Ella Risebrow on Aug 29, 2011Comments: Dear Secretary General Wijnstekers: I am a Scuba Diver and am very aware of the changes that are occurring in the seas, it is a very delicate balance and if there are not strong measures put in place soon, the ocean will no longer be able to sustain us. I am deeply concerned about the trafficking in live wild dolphins for "swim-with-dolphins" tourist shows and for-profit aquariums. Many of these dolphins, such as in Japan and in the Solomon Islands, are caught in cruel drive fisheries. The sale of a few live dolphins subsidizes the slaughter of hundreds more. Even those that survive the slaughter often die in captivity. I urge you to do all you can to help stop the Solomon Islands and Japan from continued slaughter and trafficking in these intelligent, vulnerable marine mammals. And please make sure that the governments of the Dominican Republic, United Arab Emirates, Panama, and other potential importers understand that dolphin trafficking should end. Thankyou Yours Sincerely Ella RisebrowFlag

Name: Nadeen Larkin on Aug 29, 2011Comments: I saw the program on ABC 1 last night of the Dolphin Killing in Taji and the dolphin activists lengths to try and get the first photoage of the slaughter it was absolutely sicking what the Japanese Government is doing to the Dolphins and Whales and the lying to its people telling them that the dolphins and whales are pests that must be killed, absolutely disgusting. Then making it compulsary for the school children to have to eat the dolphin meat . . truely low! I wish for change for the poor Japanese people under such suppression of human rights by the Japanese Government. May all people and animals.. all beings . . be free! Bless the poor Japanese people who know no better only what they are led to believe by their government . . it seems very clear from the program last night that to Japan it is all about not being told what to do a country run by ego and oppression negative power and domination of it's people . . the world needs to stand up to this for all peoples rights in the world . . it is not for one to torture or control the being or spirit of another. The world needs to stand up and say enough, no more, this is not ok, not only for the dolphins . . but for the poor Japanese people living under this oppressive regime. We ask for miracles and blessings for all of Japan and forgiveness for all souls involved. . for they know not what they do! Please help free and educated all these souls angels. We love u all deeply! and so too . . soo verrryy verry much . . do the whales and dolphins!!! If they knew the truth of what the special beings are here to do for us they would be horrified! Bless them!Flag

Help stop this crime against these amazing animals. To the fishermen who capture the dolphins..they are not yours or anyone's to harvest. Just because you can ....doesn't mean you have the right...redemption will be brought to you in the next life from the innocents you have murdered.Flag
